ART PORTFOLIO

Welcome to my creative space, where my work as an artist and educator come together. This portfolio is a mix of personal artwork, past and current projects, and teaching examples that reflects how I approach both making and teaching art. Everything here is rooted in growth, process, and intention.

Whether I’m in the studio or the classroom, my focus is on building skills, exploring ideas, and creating work that feels meaningful.

CREATE WITH PURPOSE. TEACH WITH HEART. INSPIRE WITHOUT LIMITS.

About My Work

My artistic practice is rooted in exploration, intention, and connection. I work across different materials and techniques, often coming back to themes of identity, balance, and the idea that the process matters just as much as the final piece. Most of my work starts with curiosity and a bit of trial and error, and I’ve learned to embrace that along the way. Each piece reflects a moment of growth, not just something to finish, but something to understand.

Alongside my personal work, this portfolio includes both past and current projects that show my range and how I’ve developed over time. I’m always learning, always refining, and always finding new ways to grow as an artist.

Student-Centered Learning

The teaching examples in this portfolio show how I approach art instruction across all grade levels, from kindergarten to 12th grade. My lessons are structured and intentional, with a focus on building strong foundation skills while helping students grow into more confident, independent artists over time.

Each lesson is designed to:

– Build skills in drawing, design, and composition

– Reinforce art vocabulary and introduce key art concepts

– Connect to art history in a way that feels relevant

– Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving

– Support self-expression within a clear and guided structure

– Meet students at different learning levels and needs

My work reflects a balance between my own studio practice and real classroom experiences, I value structure, consistency, and high expectations, while still creating a space where students feel comfortable exploring and growing. My goal is always the same: to help students build skill, confidence, and a genuine appreciation for art.

My Teaching Philosophy

As an Art Educator, I believe creativity should be accessible to every student, but also guided with purpose. My classroom is built on structure, consistency, and clear expectations, while still giving students the space to grow, take risks, and build confidence in their abilities.

I focus on helping students develop their individual voice, but not without first giving them the tools and skills to do it well. I want them to feel supported, capable, and proud of what they create.

I design lessons that are both structured and flexible, so students from kindergarten through 12th grade can build strong technical skills while gradually learning how to think more independently and creatively.

Thank you for taking the time to explore my work. This portfolio represents not only what I create, but what I strive to inspire in others- the confidence to create, the courage to experiment, and the joy of making something meaningful.
